Stay Buff Dip!


This fabulous recipe was featured in my ebook, Treat Yourself. It is so good I decided to dig it back up and share it with you. I am sure we are all starting to crave more fruits and veggies as the sun is staying out longer. This is the perfect dip to add even more nutrients and protein to your apple, celery or banana.

Stay Buff Dip

Yields: 3-4 servings Prep time: 5 minutes Chill time: 20 minutes

Need a dip that you can keep on dipping without really worrying about calories? This is your go to. You can make it any flavor, but I went with a slight pumpkin pie taste. Dip apple slices, celery, carrots or banana chips in it. You can also add in raisins, cocoa nibs or crushed nuts for some texture (just be aware- the more toppings, the more calories).

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup almond milk

1/4 cup canned pumpkin

2 tbsp agave

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

dash of salt

Mix all together ingredients in a bowl with a whisk and stick in fridge. Serve chilled. I served mine with dried banana chips and we loved it!
